10 Meetups About Robot Vacuum Deals You Should Attend

Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

If you've always wanted to purchase a robot vacuum, now's your chance. CNET's best-rated models will be available for Black Friday and Cyber Monday with discounts of up to 57%..

The Roborock Q7 Max offers strong pressure and smart mapping, with apps-based no-go zones. its 180-minute runtime is impressive. It also automatically refills and self-empties its water tank.

1. Roomba j7+ from iRobot

The Roomba J7+ is iRobot's most advanced robot vacuum to date. Its biggest innovation, however, is its camera-based obstacle-detection technology. It uses AI to detect objects such as charging cords and shoes. It's also the first robot to automatically send you photos of an object it encounters so you can tell it to avoid it in the future.

The Combo J7+ is the most efficient robot mop we have ever tested. It cleans up dirt and spills effortlessly and leaves no trace of it was there. The iRobot app makes it easy to control. You can schedule cleanings and even create Keep Out Zones so that it doesn't clean in areas you don't would like. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start and stop it with a voice.

The design is also more appealing than the competition. It features a sleek, high-end piece that looks like an toy, not an obnoxious and loud robot. Clean Base's Automatic Dirt removal It also self-empties which will cut down your cleaning time.

In our tests, we discovered that the j7+ quickly took away dirt, dust, and pet hair. The counter-rotating rubber brushes kept the debris in one spot instead of scattering it around the floor. It even could take small gravel and sand that other robots aren't able to do. It did all this without getting tangled in our pet's hair.

The j7+, though not as intelligent as the $1,217 Roomba S9+ Self-Emptying Vacuum Robot from iRobot and cannot clean the stairs, is a good option for those who need both mopping and a vacuum. It's not expensive and the IRobot app makes it user-friendly.

The iRobot Home App is easy to use but we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner applications. It can take a long time to download updates, and often it's difficult to tell whether the update actually functioning until you've seen it in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

When you're looking for an automated vacuum cleaner that can do more than simply clean floors, the best choice is probably a hybrid. This type of robot typically has a built-in water tank, meaning they can both mop and vacuum your home at the same time. These bots also have various additional features such as smart mapping, small object avoidance, and the capability to wash and dry mopping pads. They are expensive at full retail but often lower prices on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

Roborock is one of our favorite robot vacuums and the Q5+ isn't an exception. This is the cheapest model of their auto-empty line. Although it doesn't come with some of the premium features (like no-go areas and multi-story memories) but it's an excellent option for those who are willing to make some compromises to save a few dollars.

The Q5+ is notably gentle around obstacles such as wall legs and table legs and walls, which makes it a good choice for homes with lots of furniture.  vacuum robot 's also extremely thorough when it comes to cleaning up dust bunnies, which is a problem where cheaper robot vacuums be a bit sloppy. The technology for navigation in the Q5+ is excellent and has very few missing in corners and along walls.

The Q5+, like other Roborock products, can be controlled by only a few buttons on your device or via the Roborock App. The app lets you start and stop cleanings and schedules, as well as create virtual barriers and no-go zones, and alter your home map, or change the labeling of rooms.

If you choose the Q5+ it comes with a new auto-emptying dock that's designed to make this robot easier to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver, but once it's installed emptying the bin can be accomplished with relative ease. It also features an impressive LCD display which is great to have when you're creating schedules or changing settings. This feature isn't essential for the majority of people, however it can help you easily keep track of the robot's maintenance schedules.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot mop and vacuum that's incredibly smart in both its vacuuming and mopping capabilities. Its design and function are among the most advanced available however it's expensive.

It's a small base station that looks stunning and is easily hidden when not in use. But the station's biggest selling point is how it automates many tasks and functions that most other robots will leave to you. It stores clean and dirty water, it electrolyzes and heats the water (which most other robovacs require you to do) and empty the dust bin after vacuuming, and ensures that your robot charged and clean.

Its vacuuming performance is quite impressive as well. It's one of the few robovacs I've tested that do very well at collecting debris from bare floors, and it's not nearly as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot the 900 series.

The Freo X Ultra is not without flaws, especially in the area of navigation. Its LiDAR sensors and laser sensors aren't as reliable as other robotvacs. This means that it could get stuck or confused in certain corners or rooms in the home. It can't climb stairs as well as some competitors, and it doesn't have a dock that lets the user to set up a dedicated cleaning zone for carpets that are soft.

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an excellent option for those looking for an automated vacuum that can do it all.

If you're looking for a way to save money or aren't concerned about the limitations of the robot, there are plenty of other options available. Many eufy models cost substantially less. The eufy Qrevo curv, for instance is less expensive and has many more features, like the ability to climb stairs and a full-function Dock, with the ability to provide a more thorough vacuuming experience on plain floors carpets, low-pile carpets and even high-pile carpets.

4. eufy RoboVac G30

Eufy is an Anker company that has a history of producing robot vacuums with the right combination of performance, features, and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning on carpets and hard flooring, and mopping capabilities for a low cost. It's easy to set up, just snap on one of the side brushes, turn it on and plug in your charging dock. The app takes you through several steps to connect to your Wi-Fi, and the G30 is ready to go. You'll need to place the dock near a power outlet and ample space to allow it to move around however.

The G30 is tiny, 2.85 inches tall to be exact and can be placed under couches and other furniture with a low clearance. Its design is more modest than other models, with sleek black finish and three buttons that are physical such as Auto Cleaning start/pause, Recharge and Spot Clean (which scrubs an area in a spiral pattern for two minutes). It is also possible to connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home for voice commands to perform unscheduled cleaning.

The most important aspect that sets the G30 apart from its competitors is the way it cleans. It makes use of a built-in map to create an image of the immovable objects in its path, remembering what it's already cleaned and the areas it's not able to access. When it's time to recharge, it automatically returns to its base, and then resumes cleaning where it began.

The elegant G30 has its flaws however. The iRobot Roomba 675 is better constructed, has lower recurring costs, charges more quickly and has the same battery life. It also offers better performance on bare floors and carpets with low pile. It has a bigger dust bin that does not require more emptying. It also has border strips that block it from certain areas. The G30 is, on the other hand is more affordable and a lot easier to maintain. Its smaller dust container doesn't require as frequent emptying and is less prone to suffocating heavy materials like cereal.
